This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with AIDM (“AIDM”). It satisfies Meta’s requirement to provide user data deletion instructions for apps that access Meta platform data, including WhatsApp Business integrations.
1. Who this page is for
This page applies to:
- AIDM account holders — businesses or individuals who created an account on aidm.me
- Meta-connected users — anyone who authorized our Meta app during WhatsApp Business onboarding or related Meta login flows
- End customers — individuals whose contact or message data was stored in AIDM by one of our business customers
2. Delete your AIDM account and workspace data
If you are an AIDM account holder, you can request full account deletion by email:
- Send an email to support@aidm.me from the email address linked to your AIDM account.
- Use the subject line: Account deletion request.
- Include your full name, registered phone number, and the workspace or project name you want deleted.
- We will verify ownership of the account and confirm receipt within 7 business days.
After verification, we will delete or anonymize account data, connected WhatsApp integration metadata, contacts, message history, templates, campaign records, and billing references associated with your workspace, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or billing dispute purposes.
3. Remove Meta / WhatsApp authorization
If you connected WhatsApp through Meta’s Embedded Signup, you should also remove app access from your Meta account:
- Open Meta Business Integrations / Apps and Websites.
- Select the AIDM app.
- Choose Remove or Revoke access.
- Optionally disconnect the WhatsApp Business account inside your Meta Business Manager if you no longer want the number linked to third-party tools.
Revoking Meta access stops future data sync from Meta to AIDM. To delete data already stored in AIDM, still submit an account deletion request using the steps above.
4. End customers of AIDM business users
If a business contacted you using WhatsApp through AIDM, that business is typically the controller of your personal data. Contact the business directly first and ask them to delete your information from their AIDM workspace.
If the business does not respond or you cannot reach them, email support@aidm.me with:
- The business name that messaged you
- Your WhatsApp phone number
- A brief description of your deletion request
We will forward the request to the relevant business customer where possible and take reasonable steps to assist with deletion when we can verify the request.
5. What we delete
Depending on your relationship with the Service, deletion may include:
- Account profile and authentication records
- Project and workspace configuration
- WhatsApp connection tokens and business account metadata
- Contacts, tags, custom attributes, and imported lists
- Conversation history, broadcasts, templates, and analytics derived from them
- Support correspondence related to the deletion request
6. What we may retain
We may retain limited information when necessary to:
- Comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
- Maintain security logs and prevent fraud or abuse
- Process chargebacks or outstanding billing matters
Retained data is restricted and deleted when no longer required.
7. Processing timeline
Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Backups may take up to an additional 30 days to purge from active systems. We will email you when deletion is complete or if we need additional information to verify your request.
