This Privacy Policy describes how AIDM(“AIDM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at aidm.me and our WhatsApp marketing platform (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Who we are
AIDMprovides a business messaging platform that helps teams connect WhatsApp Business accounts, manage contacts, send campaigns, and operate customer conversations. Our Service integrates with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform and related Meta developer products.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you register, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, organization details, and authentication credentials used to access the Service.
WhatsApp and Meta integration data
When you connect a WhatsApp Business account through Meta’s Embedded Signup or related flows, we receive and store data authorized by you and Meta, which may include:
- WhatsApp Business Account and phone number identifiers
- Business profile information displayed on WhatsApp
- Access tokens and connection metadata required to operate the integration
- Message templates, delivery status, and webhook events
Customer and contact data
Our business customers upload or sync contact lists and conversation data into AIDM. This may include customer names, phone numbers, message content, tags, custom attributes, and campaign engagement data. Our customers control this data and determine the lawful basis for processing it.
Usage and technical data
We automatically collect log data, device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, feature usage, and diagnostic information to secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider. We receive billing status and transaction metadata but do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Send service-related communications
- Process subscriptions and billing
- Deliver WhatsApp messages and campaigns on your behalf
- Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
- Improve features and develop new functionality
4. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable under data protection law, we process personal data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Service), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.
5. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Meta / WhatsApp — to connect accounts, send messages, manage templates, and receive webhook events through the WhatsApp Business Platform
- Service providers — such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processors that help us operate the Service
- Business customers — when you interact with a business using AIDM, that business may process your information as an independent controller
- Legal and safety recipients — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service
We do not sell personal information.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our Data Deletion Instructions.
7. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
If you are an end customer of a business using AIDM, contact that business first because they control the customer data stored in their workspace. For account-holder requests, see our Data Deletion Instructions.
10. Meta platform data
When you connect Meta or WhatsApp services, Meta may also process your information under its own terms and privacy policies. You can review and manage Meta app permissions in your Meta account settings.
11. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
